Single – Des Horsfall’s Kuschty Rye enlists The Who’s Pete Townshend for new single

When you’re in the middle of a music project paying tribute to the late, great Ronnie Lane, you can expect to turn a few heads. As part of The Small Faces, and later The Faces, Lane was one of Britain’s seminal performers in an age of great bands.

Such was Lane’s impact that Des Horsfall – a songwriter with a long, storied career of his own – has decided to release a new triple album paying tribute to the man – ‘The Bastard’s Tin’.

As I said above, when embarking on a project like this, you’re more than likely to turn a few industry heads. And when one of them is The Who’s Pete Townshend, you know you’re doing something right.

Townshend heard about ‘The Bastard’s Tin’ and wanted to be involved. The result is the new single above, ‘Chameleon’, out on Friday Dec 11th.
